O Grammy 2024 premiou no domingo m, 4, os melhores artistas da indústria da música em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos.

Taylor Swift foi o grande destaque. Ela levou o Grammy de álbum 2024 e se tornou a única pessoa na história da premiação a ter ganhado quatro vezes essa mesma categoria. Seu disco, “Midnight”, também foi eleito o melhor álbum pop vocal.

 

Miley Cyrus também teve uma noite memorável com “Flowers”, escolhida a gravação do ano e a melhor performance pop solo. No meio da apresentação ela gritou: “Ganhei um Grammy”.

Billie Eilish ganhou o Grammy de música do ano por “What Was I Made For?”, SZA e Phoebe Bridgers levaram melhor performance pop grupo, Victoria Monét foi a revelação do ano, as três garotas de Boygenius levaram dois Grammys de rock e Kylie Minogue faturou um de dance. Só deu mulher no Grammy 2024.

 

Celine Dion apareceu na cerimônia, depois de se afastar dos palcos para tratar doença rara. Ela foi a apresentadora da principal categoria da noite, a de álbum do ano, vencida por Taylor Swift com “Midnights”

Brasileiros ficam de fora

Os brasileiros Eliane Elias, Ivan Lins e Luciana Souza & Trio Corrente, que concorriam separadamente a Melhor Álbum de Jazz Latino, não conquistaram a estatueta. Os vencedores da categoria foram Miguel Zenón e Luis Perdomo por “El Arte Del Bolero Vol. 2”.
